WELLNESS & NUTRITION COACHING · EALING, WEST LONDON
Beyond the workout.
Support for the whole of you.
Wellness and nutrition coaching at Shaw Lifestyle starts with two things: listening, then knowledge. Most people have been given plenty of advice. What they have not always had is someone who genuinely hears what they need first, before deciding what to say. Once that picture is clear, building the right knowledge becomes straightforward, and that knowledge is what makes lasting change possible.

THE SHAW LIFESTYLE APPROACH
Not a diet plan.
Not a programme to follow.
There is no shortage of nutrition advice, much of it contradictory, most of it driven by marketing. Foods sold as healthy that are anything but. Plans designed to be followed until they are not.
Sessions start with understanding, how the body works, what it actually needs, why certain things help and others do not. That knowledge then becomes the foundation for changes that make sense for your specific life, not someone else's template.
Most clients find that nutrition and lifestyle are more connected than they expected. Habits, sleep, stress and movement all feed into each other. This is why coaching at Shaw Lifestyle rarely stays in one lane for long.

WELLNESS WINS COACHING
You came to talk about headaches.
We ended up somewhere else.
Wellness Wins Coaching started during lockdown, when people were struggling and the usual outlets had disappeared. I began offering short conversations, ten minutes to check in and see what was needed. What I found was that there was never just one thing.
There rarely is.
Long before Wellness Wins had a name, clients coming to me for personal training or nutrition would arrive and start talking. About the headaches that never quite went away. The sleep that had been off for months. The irritability they could not explain. I have always started sessions with a simple question, how are you feeling today, because how someone feels affects everything about how they move. But the answers were telling me something else. These were not just physical symptoms.
This is health and wellbeing coaching in the truest sense. Not a checklist or a programme to follow, but a genuine conversation about what is going on for you. Stress, sleep, anxiety, confidence, mindfulness, life balance. Whatever is sitting heaviest. I work with clients on mental health coaching, mindfulness and stress management, and the kind of health coaching that starts from wherever you actually are rather than wherever you think you should be.
Wellness Wins sessions are client-led. You come with something. It might be vague, it might feel too small to mention, it might be something you have never said out loud before. I listen, ask questions, and together we find out what you actually need to work through. Sessions are available face-to-face in Ealing or online, so if you are not local you can still access the same support. Some people arrive thinking they need help with stress and leave having uncovered something they did not know was there. Some people have described these sessions as life-changing. Not because I had the answers, but because I helped them find their own.
If you are not sure whether this is for you, the video below is me explaining in my own words what coaching is and what it is not.
MENOPAUSE SUPPORT

Navigating menopause from the inside.
Liz is a qualified menopause coach, and not only that, she has navigated menopause herself, meaning that when clients come in with symptoms, fears, or simply the feeling that nobody is quite hearing them; the conversation starts from somewhere real.
Every woman's experience is different. What Shaw Lifestyle offers is not a menopause programme but a listening ear, evidence-informed guidance and support across nutrition, movement, mindset and lifestyle, tailored to what each person actually needs.
Whether alongside HRT or as a standalone approach, considered lifestyle choices make a meaningful difference. The research on strength training and bone density, on nutrition and hormonal balance, on movement and mood all points to the same conclusion: what you do daily matters more than any single intervention.
"Liz, your stress management course has brought clarity & peace to my life."
WHO COMES FOR WELLNESS & NUTRITION
People rarely arrive for just one thing.
Some clients come for weight management and discover that habits and stress were the real issue all along. Some come for stress and find that movement becomes part of the answer. Some come for nutrition and end up reassessing how they work, rest and live.
Clients have lost significant weight, improved energy levels, slept better and reduced joint pain. One client arrived for stress management and, for the first time, found a space to talk about something she had never voiced before, and found a way through it.
These sessions are confidential. What they share is that people leave with a clearer understanding of themselves than when they arrived.
"Afterwards I felt refreshed and ready to go."
"It is both enlightening and exciting to see how some of the simple steps that you instigate through your course, can bring such rewarding results."
"Liz is highly informative, and as well as being understanding and encouraging."
